| Sharon M. Wharton is a highly
skilled planner, organizer and coordinator with a wide range of experiences
in producing special event activities, conferences, community festivals
and galas. Her event management experiences have been augmented by a twenty-year
career in the fields of Customer Relations and Public/Consumer Advocacy,
Marketing and Advertising, and Media and Public Relations. |

| Ms. Wharton has a creative
eye for designing memorable events, big or small, with a special touch.
In her role as the Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Maryland
Department of Transportation, Ms. Wharton planned and coordinated a variety
of special events and conferences, including Small and Minority Business
Outreach Conference, Mega Success, Hispanic Outreach, Korean Businessman
Conference, National Association of Minority Contractors Conference, and
the Legislative Black Caucus Conference. |

| Among her most laudable achievements
is the "Adopt-A-Shelter" program and campaign that encouraged
private organizations and community groups to enhance and beautify their
communities with amenities such as transportation shelters, plants, trees,
planters, trash receptacles, ceramic mosaics, clock towers, etc. She also
planned and managed the National NAACP Annual Conference and the P2K Conference
of Historical Black Colleges and Universities. At that conference, she brokered
partnership with federal, state, and local government agencies as well as
private entities to prepare students for employment opportunities. |

| Ms. Wharton has also developed
attractive and attention getting exhibit booths to enhance client image
and presentation for the Maryland Department of Transportation, the National
Coalition of Black Women, and the Maryland Chapter of the National Baptist
Convention. |

| As the coordinator of the
African American Heritage Festival in Baltimore County, which highlights
the contributions of African American in the county community, and the "Zoomarang"
Festival and Fundraising event in Baltimore City, Ms. Wharton dazzled the
guests with her distinctive style and brand of event planning that captured
the mood of the occasions. She also worked with the Make A Wish Foundation
to raise funds for children with life threatening illnesses and with Men
Who Cook, a Baltimore fundraiser for college scholarships. |

| Ms. Wharton will go the extra

She has an undergraduate degree from University of Maryland Baltimore County
(UNMC) and a Master's of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Towson
State University, Towson Maryland. |
