Gloria Murry Ford, Chief of Media Relations & Video Productions
Gloria Murry is a veteran media specialist with 25 plus-year career in broadcasting. She is the president of Murry Ford Communications and served as the Director of Communications for the Emergency Board of Trustees for the DC Public Schools. In that position, she developed a media crises plan that ended a seven-year fire code violations lawsuit against DC Public Schools, where several schools were closed and the schools opened late one year. Gloria Murry's broadcast career includes work as a correspondent for Cable News Networks Southwest Bureau, where she broke a major news story about a serial killer. She also worked for Black Entertainment Television and at broadcast
outlets in Wichita, Kansas, and Washington DC. In the public relations sector, she worked on the Million Family March and co-wrote and produced a commercial for the event. She has written and produced radio and television commercials in English and Spanish for the DC Government Department of Human Services Food Stamp Program and DC Healthy Families.
